The European Movement in BiH, in partnership with the city of Doboj and with the sponsorship and participation of the RS Vice-President Enes Suljkanović will continue with the project “Turkey and BiH-Bridge of Culture and Civilization Through the Prism of Economic Cooperation in the Context of EU Integration”. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey through its Embassy in Sarajevo finances the project.
Doboj is one of the 12 local communities where the project will be implemented. The main goal is the improvement of economic relations and contacts between businesspeople in Turkey and BiH, and the presentation of the two countries as possible bridges of civilization, culture, religion and peoples, the “East” and the “West”.
The Ambassador of Tureky to BiH Ahmet Yildiz, General Director of Turkish Ziraat Bank Ali Riza Akbas, General Secretary of BIGMEV, Cenita Kocaman, representatives of the Secretariat and Department for Economics and Media of the Turkish Embassy in Sarajevo and Edhem Pašić from the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs will attend.
Representatives from the Delegation of the EU to BiH will participate in the project, announced the European Movement in BiH.
