The results of the project “EU Support to BiH Law Enforcement Agencies” will be presented in Sarajevo tomorrow, as well as the next steps that should be taken.

The results will be presented following the second meeting of the Steering Committee of the project financed by the EU.

The Steering Committee will address the specific areas regarding building police capacity, the risks and capacities, and problems and solutions in order to ensure that the support of international expertise would be utilized to the benefit of domestic law enforcement agencies and the citizens it serves.

The EU finances the project “EU Support for Law Enforcement” for 7 million euros through the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA 2010), and it will continue until 30 April 2014.

This project remains one of the key actors in the support of the EU to BiH on its path to integration.
