Total Number of Fixed Telephone lines of dominant Operators decreased in 2018

A total number of fixed telephone lines of dominant operators in the third quarter 2018 was 646.328 which represents a decrease of 6,2% compared to the third quarter 2017th.

According to BiH’s Agency for Statistics, the total traffic of fixed telephone network in the third quarter of 2018 was je 468.670.360 minutes which shows a decrease of 7,4% compared to third quarter 2017th.

A number of mobile phone users in the third quarter of 2018 was 3.480.733 which shows an increase of 0,2% compared to the third quarter 2017th year.The total traffic of mobile telephone network in the third quarter of 2018 was 580.279.004 minutes which shows a decrease of 8,4% compared to the third quarter 2017th year.

The number of SMS messages sent in the third quarter of 2018 decreased by 16,8%, while the number of MMS messages sent decrease by 3,9% compared to the third quarter 2017h.

The total number of Internet connections via the fixed network in the third quarter of 2018 was 689.339 an increase of 4,9% compared to the third quarter of 2017.
