Total seasonally adjusted industrial production in Bosnia and Herzegovina in March 2020, compared to February 2020, is decreased by 6.0%, according to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Agency for Statistics.
In March 2020, compared to March 2019, industrial production in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the calender adjusted, is decreased by 9.9%.
In March 2020, compared to February 2020, production of Energy increased by 0.5%, while production of Intermediate goods decreased by 4.8%, production of Consumer non-durables decreased by 6.7%, production of Capital goods decreased by 12.2%, and production of Consumer durables decreased by 22.1%.
In March 2020 compared to March 2019, production of Energy decreased by 0.6%, production of Consumer non- durables decreased by 10.6%, production of Intermediate goods decreased by 11.7%, production of Capital goods decreased by 21.6%, and production of Consumer durables decreased by 32.9%.
In March 2020, compared to March 2019, calendar adjusted industrial production increased in section Mining and quarrying by 0.8%, in section Electricity and gas supply increased by 0.6%, while in section Manufacturing decreased by 16.1%.
Broken own by divisions of activities (rates are calculated from seasonally adjusted indices) in March 2020 compared to February 2020, the highest growth is recorded in division 12 – Manufacture of tobacco products 111.0%), and division 32 – Other manufacturing (26.2%). The largest decline in industrial production in March 2020 compared to February same year was recorded in division 13 – Manufacture of textiles (37.7%) and division 26 – Manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products (25.3%).
Broken down by divisions of activities (rates are calculated from calendar adjusted indices) in March 2020 compared to March 2019, the highest growth is recorded in division 32 – Other manufacturing (64.9%) and division 08 – Other mining and quarrying (22.9%). The largest decline in industrial production in March 2020 compared to March 2019, was recorded in division 24 – Manufacture of basic metals (41.8%) and division 30 Manufacture of other transport equipment (39.4%).
