Total Seasonally Adjusted Industrial Production in Bosnia-Herzegovina decreased

Total seasonally adjusted industrial production in Bosnia and Herzegovina in November 2019, compared to October 2019, is increased by 2.6%.

In November 2019, compared to November 2018, industrial production in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the calendar adjusted, is decreased by 4.9%.

In November 2019, compared to October 2019, production of Consumer durables increased by 13.2% production of Energy increased by 11.8%, production of Capital goods increased by 2.1%, and production of Consumer non-durables increased by 0.4%, while production of Intermediate goods decreased by 0.5%.

Annual comparison

In November 2019 compared to November 2018, production of Consumer non-durables increased by 2.1%, while production of Consumer durable decreased by 2.4%, production of Energy decreased by 3.0%, production of Intermediate goods decreased by 8.2%, and production of Capital goods decreased by 11.5%.

According to sections of KD BiH 2010, seasonally adjusted industrial production in November 2019 compared to October 2019 in section Electricity and gas supply increased by 11.7%, in section Mining and quarrying increased by 9.2% and in section Manufacturing increased by 0.9%.

In November 2019, compared to November 2018, calendar adjusted industrial production in section Electricity and gas supply decreased by 2.7%, in section Mining and quarrying decreased by 4.0% and in section Manufacturing decreased by 5.4%,

Monthly comparison

Broken down by divisions of activities (rates are calculated from seasonally adjusted indices) in November 2019 compared to October 2019, the highest growth is recorded in division 32 – Other manufacturing (19.0%) and division 07 – Mining of metal ores (16.9%). The largest decline in industrial production in November 2019 compared to October this year was recorded in division 26 – Manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products (13.6%) and division 33 – Repair and installation of machinery and equipment (10.3%).

Broken down by divisions of activities (rates are calculated from calendar adjusted indices) in November 2019 compared to November 2018, the highest growth is recorded in division 32 – Other manufacturing (28.1%) and division 14 – Manufacture of wearing apparel (22.6%). The largest decline in industrial production in November 2019 compared to November 2018, was recorded in division 12 – Manufacture of tobacco products (52.5%) and division 19 – Manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (43.4%).
