Tourists: Ćevapi with Onions and Chutney are Awesome!

touristsWhile many citizens of Sarajevo decided to spend the International Labor Day in their homes or outside the city, a large number of tourists explored the streets of the Old Town. Tourists from Spain, Slovakia and Germany said that they are delighted with what they had a chance to see.

Sara Diaz from Spain decided to visit Sarajevo within her tour of the Balkans. As she said, Sarajevo fascinated her on the first sight.

“I want to explore this city because it seems very interesting to me. I have never visited the Balkan countries before, and I intend to spend two days in Sarajevo. My friends and I ate the traditional dish – ćevapi from Baščaršija, and they are delicious,” Sara said.

Carmen Dieguez, also from Spain, found the historical and cultural landmarks of Sarajevo the most fascinating. She said she saw cultural landmarks which she did not hope to see here, and she also intends to explore them.

Alzbeta Szaboova came to the BiH capital from Slovakia. Her favorite thing about the city are ćevapi with chutney and onion. Bosnian coffee is the beverage she tasted for the first time.

Ramona Maier from Germany visits Sarajevo for the first time. Within her mini journey, she also visited Mostar and Dubrovnik. Tourists who were wandering the streets of Sarajevo today said that they are fascinated the most with the mixture of cultures that can be seen in Sarajevo.
