[wzslider]Residents from more than 60 countries from all over the world have enjoyed their stay in BiH in February, according to the Agency of Statistics.

Our hosts were able to please the tastes of Australians, Americans, Swedes, the Swiss, the French, and many others. More importantly, the number of visitors, who come to BiH and return home with positive impressions, is increasing.

“In Bosnia and Herzegovina, tourists accounted for 49,323 visits in February, which is 8% more compared to the previous month, and 27.8 % more than in February, 2014,” as stated by the Agency of Statistics.

Apart from the rapidly growing number of guests, the number of those who remain in BiH for several days is also increasing.

“Tourists recorded 105,731 overnight stays in February, which is 2 % more than in January and 36.8 % more than in February 2014”, highlighted by the Agency of Statistics.

Our tourism workers are rubbing their hands together with joy; it is a wide range of countries from which their visitors are coming from, and what makes them even happier is that the majority of guests’ returns to their home countries are satisfied.

“When it comes to foreign visitors, in addition to tourists from Serbia, Slovenia, and Croatian, tourists also come from Italy, Austria, and Germany… But, we also have guests from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, India, Japan, South Korea, and so on”, said Mladen Šukalo, senior associate of the Tourist Organization of Banja Luka.
