mostarDue to tourist season that has begun earlier than usual in Mostar this year and a large number of visitors to the old town, the info desks that are usually opened on May 1 will be opened one month earlier this year.

Director of the Tourist Board of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Andrija Krešić stated that the frequency of tourists is much greater than in the same period in previous years.

“This year there is a need for opening the info desks earlier than ever, so we intend to place them already next month. The number of guests is increasing year by year, and we also have some new agreements with Asian countries that demonstrate great interest in our region,” Krešić said.

If the morning shows how the day will be, this year’s season should be really fruitful and record-breaking in terms of the number of visitors, Krešić highlighted.
