Trade Deficit for the FBiH amounts to over 351 Million Euros

In April of this year, the Federation of BiH realized exports worth 932,792,000 BAM, which is 7.4 percent less compared to March 2023 or 15.4 percent less compared to April of the previous year.

In April of this year, imports in the value of 1,620,465,000 BAM were realized, which is 10.4 percent less compared to March of this year, or 4.5 percent less compared to April last year.

In the period January – April 2023, exports fell on average every month by 0.26 percent, and imports fell on average by 1.71 percent.

The percentage of coverage of imports by exports in April was 57.6 percent, which is 1.9 percent more than in March 2023, when the coverage was 55.7 percent.

The trade deficit of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for April 2023 was 687,673,000 BAM, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.

In April, most of the exports from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina were to Germany, Croatia and Austria, and most of the imports were from Italy, Germany and China.
