The traditional 459th jumps from the Old Bridge in Mostar will be held on Sunday, July 27, starting at 4 p.m.

According to the organizers, more than 40 jumpers from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region are expected to participate.

Unlike previous years, this year jumpers from Croatia and Kosovo will also participate.

As part of the event, a backgammon tournament will be organized, which will start on Saturday and end on Sunday morning, while a torchlight procession on the Old Bridge is scheduled to end the entire program on Sunday at 10 p.m.

In addition to cash prizes and trophies, the most successful jumpers will also receive gifts from the Center for Peace and Multiethnic Cooperation Mostar this year.

The jumpers will be judged by an expert jury consisting of Alica Jakirović, Branko Bogičević, Semir Drocić, Samir Zukanović – Lile and, for the first time, Alija Ajanić. In the exhibition part of the program, veteran jumpers and guests from neighboring countries will perform.

“And this year, the jury is made up of former jumpers, former jump champions, three of whom have already successfully judged the competitors. The event has an international character again, friends from Montenegro, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia and Kosovo will come, so we expect there to be great competition,” said the president of the “Mostari” Jumping Club, Lorens Listo.

He thanked everyone who supported the organization of the jumps.
