mostar (1)The traditional jumps from the old bridge in Mostar will be held on Sunday, 28 July at 16:00, announced the organizers.

There will be 447 jumps. Organizers sent invitations to interested divers from all countries of the former Yugoslavia, and the participation of around 80 divers is expected.

This year also, the competition will be held in two disciplines and they are jumping feet first and head first, and there will be the regional jumps for veterans.

A novelty for this year’s event is that one jury, in contrast to previous years when a jury that was divided for the disciplines assessed the jumps, will assess the jumps. The jury will be made up of Mustafa Jahura, Mirsad Deda Pašić, Emir Balić, Duško Bajević and Željko Džeba.

The general sponsor of this year’s event is the Federal Ministry for Environment and Tourism, followed by the Federal Ministr for Culture and Sport, city of Mostar, Tourist Organization of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, BH Telecom, Fortuna Tours Mostar, and the Sports Association Mostar.

There will not be a live broadcast this year. Rather, the event will be shown on TV1 in the evening.
