Tragedy in Zagreb School: Teacher and Students Attacked with Knife, One Child Killed

The Zagreb police arrested the attacker who attacked and injured a teacher and several students with a knife in an elementary school in the Prečko neighborhood of Zagreb. The media announced that it was a 19-year-old boy and that one child had died, and the teachers were allegedly fighting for their lives.

The police reported that on Friday around 9:50 a.m., a young man injured a teacher and several students with a sharp object in an educational institution in the area of ​​Prečko.

“The attacker is under police surveillance. Injured persons are being provided with medical assistance,” said the police.

The media previously announced that the attacker was allegedly a student of the school in front of which there were many police and ambulances after the attack.

An ambulance helicopter landed in front of the school, and Mayor Tomislav Tomašević, Minister of the Interior Davor Božinović and Minister of Science, Education and Youth Radovan Fuhs also came.

In the video published by HRT Radio Sljeme, people can be seen running away from the building, while in the video published by Indeks, emergency workers can be seen transporting one person in vehicles, Hina writes.
