Transavia‘Transavia’, a daughter company of the Dutch national airline KLM, is potentially interested to introduce cheaper flights from the Netherlands to B&H starting from 2015.

This was the conclusion from a meeting of Ahmet Halilović, Ambassador of B&H to the Netherlands with Roy Scheerder, the Commercial Director of ‘Transavia’.

‘’I stressed the importance of establishing such an airline due to the tourist potential of B&H, as well as because of the numerous B&H diaspora in the Netherlands, potential service users of B&H citizens from North America who travel to B&H through Amsterdam’’, said Halilović after his meeting with Scheerder.

They spoke of the evident increase of the number of Dutch tourists who visit B&H and the intensified economic cooperation of the two countries in the last period.

The ‘Transavia’ representative said in an open discussion that the decision on expanding operations and expansion to new markets would start a year earlier, which means that the eventual establishment of a connection between the Netherlands and B&H could be expected by 2015 at the earliest.
