The new Trebevic cable car transported more than 13,000 passengers in the first three days of its operation. They mostly either enjoyed the panoramic ride or went to the Trebevic Mountain.

The city of Sarajevo and PE Sarajevo would like to thank the citizens of Sarajevo and visitors of the capital city for their great support and interest.

“We are very proud that the Trebevic cable car met your expectations and attracted so many visitors, not only from Sarajevo, but from the entire region and Europe. We would like to thank our customers for their patience due to the large crowds at the starting station of Trebevic cable car. Our employees did their best and worked in a full capacity in the last three days, in order for all of our guests to enjoy the ride in the cable car,” as announced from PE Sarajevo.

The new Trebevic cable car was opened on Friday, April 6, on the Day of Sarajevo. The value of this project amounted to 20 million BAM. It represents one of the largest infrastructure projects realized in the post-war Sarajevo, which will further contribute the economic and tourist development of this city. The cable car has special importance, because it represents a symbol of the city of Sarajevo. The working hours of the cable car are from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
