Investors in Trebinje novosti.rsNew Trebinje, a settlement that will occupy 460 hectares, located between the main roads to Dubrovnik and Mostar, is in the plan of the construction. With zoning plan, which is already in the procedure, is planned to construct residential, business and tourist facilities. Thus, in the northern part of New Trebinje is planned complex that will include a casino, hotels, tourist resorts, restaurants, cafes and many other contents.

In the southern part, which caused great attention, is the Golf Resort whose value is estimated at around 40 million BAM.

The resort Otok (Island) placed in the urban area with the surface of 16 hectares, between Trebisnjica River and Mala otocina, is equally interesting. As leaders of Trebinje conceived this project, they would construct a city within the city, residential-business complex on the surface of 10 hectares and sports and recreation center on the surface of 6 hectares.

Besides the fact that Trebinje is the city of sun and beautiful Mediterranean climate, it also has a possibility for winter tourism – picnic site Ubla. The city administration wants it to be current not only in the winter for skiing but throughout the whole year. As explained from the Tourist organization, different contents are already there – bird watching, nomad safari, hiking, mountain biking etc.

The possibility of formation of winter tourism content, including different manifestations, sports camps, hypo-rehabilitation center and many others, were presented to investors. It should be also mentioned that the mountain house is also currently in the process of renovation, where will be constructed some sports facilities as well.

Works at the indoor Olympic pool, which will continue to host not only local athletes but teams from the region who want to perform their preparations here as well, says enough about the goal of Trebinje to become a recognized destination for sport and recreational tourism.

Trebinje is proud of the fact that this is the city with the largest number of national monuments in BiH – a total of 88 on the list.

The city of Trebinje is in the process of obtaining BFC standard and introduction of ISO standard.
