Trial Milomir Vasic klix.baA trial for Milomir Vasic, charged with killing an inmate in Bratunac in 1992, started at the District Court in Bijeljina.

Vasic was accused of killing Ahmet Huseinovic by firing from a gun on May 11th 1992, as a member of the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS), in the hall of the sports hall in Bratunac primary school “Vuk Karadzic”

Sead Husic, who was among the imprisoned Bosniaks in the school, was interrogated as the first witness of the District Prosecution.

Huseinovic said that a certain Macedonian beat Huseinovic up.

“He ordered me to carry him out of the hall. When I took him out to the corridor, Mile Vasic told me to put him down there. He took the gun out and ordered me to go back to the hall. Then I heard a gunshot”, the witness recalled.

Husic added that the accused entered the hall after 10 to 15 minutes, and ordered him and Ekrem Gusic to go out and wipe the blood in the corridor.

Defense attorney Petko Pavlovic presented to the witness the testimony from 2008, in which the witness stated he saw the accused Vasic firing a shot into Ahmet Huseinovic’s head.
