On Tuesday, the 22nd of March, before the State Court, the trial for the wartime commander of the Army of B&H in Srebrenica, Naser Oric and a member of the army, Sabahudin Muhic, who are accused for killing three captured Serbs in 1992 in the area of Srebrenica and Bratunac, will be continued.
Two prosecution witnesses should be heard at the trial.
The protected witness of the B&H Prosecutor’s office labeled as “O1” said that at a hearing that was held on the 8th of March in the statements that he/she had given to the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and the Prosecutor’s Office, related to the murder of Serbian prisoners in Bratunac and Srebrenica, due to fear, he/she did not mention the accused Oric and Mehic.
The witness confirmed that for the death of Slobodan Ilic, Milutin Milosevic and Mitar Savic, were responsible Oric and Muhic, thus changing the testimony given in 2003 and 2014, in which they were not mentioned.
The Court of B&H confirmed on the 9th of September last year, three counts of the indictment against Oric and Muhic for crimes against prisoners of war, that they have killed three prisoners of Serbian nationality: Slobodan Ilic, Milutin Milosevic and Mitar Savic, in 1992 in places Zalazje, Lolici and Kunjerac.
The continuation of the trial is set to 9.00 a.m.
