As a part of festival Sarajevo Winter 2013, the citizens of Sarajevo will have the opportunity to enjoy the music of ‘Rubinstein Klezmer Project’. Their concert will be held on 20 March at 8 p.m. in the House of Armed Forces.

Rubinstein Klezmer project is a beginning of a magical musical journey of three friends who first met in Norway and then in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to fulfill a dream. A dream of music. International and multicultural music, music across borders that respects humanity, culture and religion. Music that comes from one person’s heart and goes right to the heart of another.

They perform a selection of energetic and popular Klezmer, Ladino and Balkan instrumental pieces and songs including arrangements of the popular “Hava Nagila” and “If I Were a Rich Man” (Fiddler on the Roof).

Members of trio: Ya’akov Rubinstein (violin), Thomas Yehuda Martinčević Kolonomos (piano), Almir Mešković (accordion).
