Troops and equipment continued to arrive at Sarajevo International Airport on Tuesday 24 September in preparation for EUFOR’s largest annual exercise, Quick Response 2019 (QR19).
Parts of EUFOR’s High Readiness Reserve from, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and the United Kingdom are travelling to BiH by a variety of means, including air and road transport, bringing a wide-range of equipment and capabilities with them.
Run in cooperation with BiH authorities, the exercise takes place in locations across BiH, between 7-11 October, enabling EUFOR to test the ability to rapidly reinforce its permanent troops in BiH with a selection of its reserve troops from partner nations.
