Tuka and Pezer won Gold Medals at the State Senior Championship of BiH

As expected, Amel Tuka and Mesud Pezer won gold medals in their disciplines at the State Senior Championships of Bosnia and Herzegovina for athletes, which is being held yesterday and today at the Athletic Stadium Kamberovica polje in Zenica.

A total of 182 competitors from the 28 clubs in Bosnia and Herzegovina are participating, and already on the first day, three state records were broken. The records were broken by Neira Hadziahmetovic from the Sarajevo Athletic Club in the pole vault discipline, with a jump of 2.05 meters, while her club colleague Una Ban broke the pioneer and record for younger juniors in the 100 meter race.

Ban was second, with a time of 12.35, while in that race the first was Almina Rasic from Teslic with 12.34. Here, with a time of 48.12 seconds, he won the 400-meter race ahead of Rusmir Malkocevic from Tuzla’s Sloboda Tehnograd, who finished 49.19.

Pezer, on the other hand, threw an excellent 20.98 meters in the discipline of throwing the ball and won in front of his club colleague, veteran Hamza Alic, who achieved a length of 19.25 meters.

Today, the second day of the championship, the competitions start at 3:30 p.m.
