Tunnel March 1st Opened

250801402axThe Representatives of the Association of War Invalids and paraplegics of Canton Sarajevo, Mušan Kamenica and Samir Fazlić opened the tunnel March 1st  on the section Zenica South – Lasva Corridor.

Additional six kilometers of modern highway facilitates will shorten the road communication between Sarajevo and Zenica.

Tunnel March 1st is the most important object on the Corridor Vc. Its length is almost three kilometers and it has been ranked among the longest in BiH.

“It is enough to just pass the tunnel so that everyone understands what kind of infrastructure facility we are talking about. This tunnel represents a miracle made by local performers. We managed, without foreign help, to make the tunnel and to finish it in record time” – announced on this occasion the Federal Minister of Transport and Communications Enver Bijedić.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of all levels of government and the workers who worked on the construction of this tunnel.
