Zilha Šeta, manager of the Soup Kitchen, said that the members of the Turkish military battalion have been helping his kitchen for years.

“The Ramadan packages contain basic foodstuffs that can be sufficient for one family and for the period of two months. We will distribute the packages to our users in the next several days. The members of the Turkish military mission have shown countless times what benefaction, compassion and the importance of helping other people who have less are. Last year, this military mission financed the reconstruction of the premises of the Soup Kitchen, for which they allocated over 70.000 BAM. On behalf of the users and employees of the Soup Kitchen, I express our deepest gratitude for the support they are giving us,” said Šeta and added that members of the Kuwaiti charity organizations donated 47 food packages for the users of the Soup Kitchen on Thursday, June 20.

All packages donated by friends from Turkey and Kuwait were distributed to the users during the day.
