obdanistepoloetaracIn the daycare center Poletarac in the Tuzla neighborhood Slatina, a solar system for water heating with a capacity of 2000 liters was put into operation.

The heated water will be used for the kitchen and laundry facilities for all 11 Tuzla daycare centers. 15 solar collectors were set up valued at 36.460 KM, and the estimates suggest that the use of solar energy would save 5.4000 KM annually.

The project is financed by funds from the Czech Embassy valued at 13.460 KM and municipality Tuzla in the amount of 23.000 KM. The implementation of the project was entrusted to the Center for the Development and Support of Tuzla (CRP).

The Ambassador of the Czech Republic Tomas Szunyog said that the project in Poletarac would be paid out in five years.

Every year, the Czech Republic allocated between two and two and a half million euros for projects in B&H. The project in B&H passed among the 200 other projects, and this speaks volumes about its importance, said the Ambassador.
