Tuzla Canton Assembly Abolished “White Bread”, Saving About 1 Million BAM Annually

Skupstina-TKThe first ultimatum request from the Plenum of citizens of Tuzla Canton- the abolition of wage payment after the termination of the mandate of the government and Assembly of Tuzla Canton, the so-called “white bread”, was adopted today by a unanimous decision of the Tuzla Canton Assembly.

Tuzla Canton Assembly approved the request of the Plenum at the session of emergency character that lasted only half an hour. The request was approved before the delegation arrived at the meeting with the Bureau of the Assembly of Tuzla Canton with specific requirements.

The Plenum of citizens of Tuzla Canton gave to the Assembly a deadline of 72 hours and in addition to the abolition of wage payments after the termination of the mandate, is required to eliminate all the other benefits and on these requirements Tuzla Canton Assembly will discuss it later.

It is estimated that today’s decision will save about 1 million BAM annually.
