Tuzla got its Advent: An Idyllic Story Announcing Christmas

The first Advent in Tuzla opened the door for all visitors last night.

Space in front of Hotel Tuzla is a location where more than ten wooden houses are placed, specially decorated for these pre-holiday days, symbolizing the expectance of the great holiday, Catholic Christmas.

All visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a rich gastronomic offer. The sweet and salty programs of the first advent evening in Tuzla attracted many fellow citizens, as well as inevitably boiled wine and brandy.

Oliver Jurisic, President of the Association “Venus Amica” , organizer of Advent in Tuzla, said that this event brings a new kind of entertainment for all visitors.

“We have here everything that one such place needs to have. The gastronomic offer is extremely abundant, and we have various well-known wineries and distilleries of alcoholic drinks,“ Jurisic said.

Given that organization of this event started really late, the Tuzla Advent lasts quite shorter.

“We all know that Advent is the announcement of Christmas and that it lasts four weeks. Considering the enthusiasm that was present, we found the solution and decided to go with the organization this year. Now we can announce that it will be organized next year as well, and will last for a month, “ Jurisic added.

The Mayor of Tuzla, Jasmin Imamovic, had the honor to declare the opening of Advent, who said that it is extremely important for the town of salt to also have one such event.

“In these long winter nights it is very good that we have this in Tuzla. In the Freedom Square we had the largest Ramadan iftar, and now we have Advent. When it comes to the quality of life of citizens, it is most important to show the respect and equality of all, “ Imamovic said.

This winter story announcing the expectance of Christmas in the coming days will be completed with the performances of numerous music groups.
