The Tuzla Canton Government secured 2.5 million BAM for a new contract with the Greek airline Lumiwings, which will fly from Tuzla to Stockholm and Halmstad in Sweden, Maastricht in the Netherlands, Saarbrucken in Germany, and Esbjerg in Denmark from December 18. In addition to the EU countries, the line to Istanbul is also opening soon.
The price of the plane ticket will be 75 euros for flights from December 18.

The government is intervening in view of the departure of WizzAir, in the hope that the Tuzla airport will once again operate at full capacity. After the departure of this company, they only kept flights to Memmingen, Basel and Dortmund.
“We offered a subsidy, and we did it for the sake of travelers, for our diaspora, and then for the positive impact on trade and tourism. In this context, 2.5 million KM subsidy is not a large amount, considering what we get from half a million passengers”, said Irfan Halilagić, Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton.
