Twelve New Cases of Coronavirus in Canton Sarajevo

In the past 24 hours, 12 new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in the Sarajevo Canton out of 546 people tested. Nine of our fellow citizens recovered. There were no deaths from the effects of this infection.
Currently, there are 34 patients in hospital, 23 at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, and 11 at the General Hospital “Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakas”. There is one person each on the respirator and on the oxygen breathing support.

Today, Sarajevo Canton records 79 active cases of Covid-19 infection. There are currently 676 people in self-isolation. Since the beginning of the pandemic in the Sarajevo Canton, a total of 52,764 people infected with coronavirus and 51,398 cured have been registered.
According to the data of the Public Health Institute of CS, in the past seven days the average number of infected is 10, while the weekly incidence, ie the number of patients per 100,000 inhabitants, is 16.
