Two Bosnian nationals fighting on the side of Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant terrorist organization in Syria, should return by the end of March to Bosnia and Herzegovina, was by Minister of Security Dragan Mektic.

Namely, Bosnian nationals are Ibro Cufurovic from Donje Slapnice near Velika Kladusa and Abdullah Armin Curt, who threatened the head of Islamic Community in BiH Husein Kavazovic that he will cut his head off.

Both are in the Roj camp in Syria where they ended up as Kurdish prisoners and are under control of the United States. For them, international warrants have been announced and according to Minister Mektic, the identification process has been completed and they will be handed over to the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH upon arrival.

While there is not much information about Curt, it is known that Cufurovic went to Syria in 2013 and he previously took care of sheep at the place of Bilal Bosnic who was sentenced to seven years in prison for extortion and incitement to terrorism. He is suspected of radicalizing him and helping him to go to Syria. There he married and got two children.

The two are charged with terrorism and it is assumed that there are still other BiH nationals who have fought for ISIL in Syria.

In Red Interpol’s warrant, besides Cufurovic, there are 11 more men from BiH who are charged with terrorism.

According to available information, in Syria and Iraq, 240 people and about 80 children left from BiH, Klix.ba news portal reports.
