A two-day session of the Judicial Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina begins today in Sarajevo.
On the first day of the session, the Report on the implementation of measures from the Reform Program of the Supreme Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the first half of 2026, the Proposal of the medium-term work plan of the Supreme Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2027-2029, and Information on the activities undertaken in preparation for the International Conference “Security of the Judiciary”, planned for November 17 and 18 this year.
On the agenda is the approval of access to CMS and TCMS for employees of the State Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Memorandum of Understanding between the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the State Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Rulebook on Amendments to the Rulebook on the Nature and Content of the Public Competition for Filling the Positions of Civil Servants in the State Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Information on high-level corruption and organized crime cases – cross-section of the situation as of June 30, 2026. and Information on the implementation of the request of the European Commission for the preparation of statistical and qualitative data on the criminal offense of corruption, organized crime, money laundering and other criminal offenses for the E-platform of the European Commission for the year 2025 are also on the agenda of the two-day session of the HJPC of BiH.
Information on the dynamics of trials in complex cases of organized crime and high corruption included in the two-year resolution plans for the second quarter of 2026 and Information on proceedings in cases conducted against suspended holders of judicial office for the first half of 2026 will also be considered.
On the agenda of the session is the election of a member of the Supreme Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina who will carry out strategic supervision over the implementation of the Project “Strengthening the capacity of the judiciary – JCB” and the initiation of the election of a member of the Supreme Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina elected by the district prosecutors of Republika Srpska.
On the second day of the session of the HJPC of Bosnia and Herzegovina, appointments to judicial positions are on the agenda.
The request of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina for an opinion on the Draft Memorandum of Understanding between the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the prosecutor’s offices of the Ibero-American countries (Brazil, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Uruguay, Chile and Paraguay) will also be considered.
