Football Players died in Traffic Accident in BiH

In Bosanska Otoka, late last night, after midnight, there was a traffic accident in which two people died.

In Bosanska Otoka, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a tragedy occurred last night in which members of the Sloga Football Club from Bosanska Otoka died.

As announced by NK Sloga from Bosanska Otoka, two of their members, captain Nedžad Mujagić and Adnan Fajić, the son of former Sloga player Rizah Fajić, died in the tragedy.

“Dear friends and supporters of our club, it is with great sadness and sorrow that we inform you that our captain Nedžad Mujagić and assistant coach Adnan Fajić have tragically lost their lives. Last night, there was a traffic accident in which five of our football players took part. Unfortunately, this accident was fatal for our Nedžad and our Ado, while the other three were saved. You left an indelible mark on our club and you will forever remain in our hearts,” the club statement said.

According to reports, five of them had a traffic accident and fell off the road next to the bridge in Bosanska Otoka, three managed to save themselves while two drowned.

Teams of the rescue service on and in the water and members of the Kormoran Kayak Canoe Club have been working since the morning to retrieve the wreckage and the bodies of the victims.

“Last night we managed to locate the car, and today, with the assistance of the Una-Sana Canton Support Unit and others, we recovered the car, where we managed to find a person with the initials M.N. Unfortunately, the second person was not in the car, so the search will continue in the coming days,” KKK Kormoran announced.
