The Service for Foreigners’ Affairs announced that two foreign nationals have been expelled from Bosnia and Herzegovina due to their connection with terrorism.

Members of the Service for Affairs with Foreigners, in cooperation with other competent agencies, in the previous period carried out the procedure and actions in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina to find persons of security interest – foreign nationals, for whom there is available information about connections with terrorism and organized crime.

“In this regard, the inspector of the Service found an Algerian citizen with the initials S.B. in the Sarajevo area and a citizen of Russia with the initials A.G. Before the expulsion, these persons were placed under surveillance at the Immigration Center in East Sarajevo, for the reason that they represented a threat to the security system of BiH due to their connection with terrorism,“ announced the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs.

After all the activities carried out, the members of the Service carried out expulsion measures from BiH, and the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs will continue to undertake such and similar activities in the coming period, which have as a priority the detection and prevention of irregular migrations and thus contribute to the protection of the security system of BiH.
