The Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Zukan Helez, said that next year, NATO will organize two important military alliance events in BiH, namely the Partnership Coordination Conference and the NATO Symposium.
“Certainly, this is proof that NATO seriously counts on BiH,” said Helez yesterday, among other things.
On the occasion of the celebration of December 1st, the Day of the Armed Forces of BiH (AFBiH), Helez congratulated allfemale and male members of the Ministry of Defense and the AFBiH on the 18th anniversary of the AFBiH, as well as all citizens of BiH.
He also touched on the recent visit of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to BiH.
“His visit tells us that the NATO alliance is counting on BiH, that it is an interesting area for the NATO alliance. Two events that will follow at the highest level in the coming year will be held in BiH, namely the NATO symposium and the Partnership Coordination Conference. After the NATO summit, it is the second level when it comes to NATO. I proudly point out that we are in their focus,” Helez emphasized.
The AFBiH, with their participation for almost two decades, made a great contribution to efforts to preserve peace in countries where war conflicts were taking place, Federalna reports.
