Two men from Banja Luka were arrested yesterday, on suspicion of raping an American citizen in Banja Luka.

The Banjaluka Police Department stated that they arrested S.S. and S.S. both from Banja Luka, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of ‘Rape’.

“On the same day, the injured party reported to the Banjaluka Police Department that she was raped by two men unknown to her,” said the Banjaluka Police Department.

By taking operational measures and actions, the police officers determined that they could be linked to the execution of the mentioned criminal act.

“All measures and actions were taken under the supervision of the duty prosecutor of the Banjaluka District Public Prosecutor’s Office, and S.S. and S.S. will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Banjaluka District Public Prosecutor’s Office today, after the completion of the criminal investigation, together with the report on the committed criminal act,” said the Banjaluka Public Prosecutor’s Office.
