A prosecutor of the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption has filed an indictment against Sedina Delic and Sead Delic.

The accused are charged that in early 2020, in the area of Lončari, they illegally procured a large quantity of tobacco and hand-made cigarettes without excise stamps, intended for sale on the illegal tobacco market in BiH.

They transported about 140 kilograms of tobacco and about 25,000 hand-made cigarettes in the vehicles they operated and were discovered by the police officers of PS Doboj when, during control, the illegal goods were found and seized.

The amount of excise duties for the stated amount of tobacco and cigarettes exceed BAM 20,000, by which amount the budget and all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been damaged.

The accused are charged with having attempted to place on the market the goods that are not marked with control and tax stamps prescribed by the tax legislation of BiH, thus committing the criminal offence – Illicit Trade in Excise Products under Article 210a (1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
