Two Workers died in Accidents in BiH

A person died in an accident at work on Saturday evening in Zenica, a city located 70 kilometres northwest of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH’s) capital Sarajevo.

“A fifty-eight years-old man of R.J. initials is found dead in Zenica after a bag with shedding material of one tone fell on his head,” Ministry of internal affairs of Zenica-Doboj canton confirmed to local media on Sunday.

The accident occurred around 8 p.m. local time when Zenica Emergency Service was informed by the other worker that a lifeless body was found at the landfill where the salt for roads shedding was located.

Currently, members of the Ministry of internal affairs of Zenica-Doboj canton are at the scene of the accident, while the inspection is led by Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office in charge.

On the same day, a forty-year-old worker died in stonepit in the area of city of Jablanica, located some 80 kilometers southwest of the capital when a big stone and a tree fell on him.
