The Regional Chamber of Commerce of Banja Luka successfully completed a two-year project NET, which was financed by the EU pre-accession funds in the amount of 243.665 euros.
The project began in June 2011 with the goal to strengthen the networks of the Chambers of Commerce of BiH, networking and strengthening the dialogues between administrative authorities and chambers, as well as adopting the standards of the EU chambers of commerce in the course of 24 months.
To achieve this goal, it was necessary to implement a number of activities planned for this project. Teams were immediately formed for its implementation-a team of experts and a monitoring team.
The first task was to make a representative analysis of the active chambers in BiH and involved carrying out interviews. They also discussed problems and obstacles for business chambers and recommendations for overcoming them. This resulted in a brochure called “BiH Economic Chambers”, which summed up the results of the activities and presented active Chambers in BiH.
The teams also organized eight roundtables on various issues of interest to the chambers, as well as seven interactive workshops led by eminent experts from Serbia, Croatia and BIH.
The results of the project are presented in the brochure “Two Years of Successful Cooperation”, announced the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Banja Luka.
