A U.S. congressional delegation met with High Representative Christian Schmidt last night. Among other things, the possibilities of attracting foreign investments in BiH and the fight against corruption were discussed.

As the US Embassy announced on its Twitter account, a constructive discussion was held on reform priorities and opportunities for BiH to move forward, attract investment and fight corruption.

The American congressmen on the Zuc hill were following the exercise in the company of the Minister of Defense of BiH yesterday.

The U.S. delegation consisted of Senators Richard Shelby, John Cornyn, Deb Fischer, Roger Marshall and Mike Crapo. The meeting was also attended by US Ambassador Eric Nelson.

Among the activities of the American congressmen is the donation of demining equipment to the Armed Forces of BiH, which is why an event was organized yesterday on the hill Zuc above Sarajevo.
