The play in Kamerni Theatre 55 „U Zvorniku ja sam ostavio svoje srce“ (I left my heart in Zvornik) will take place on 14 April, and afterwards will go on a 20 day tour in Sweden, where the play will be performed in 10 cities from 19 April to 8 May, including the capital city of Sweden, Stockholm. The tour is organized in cooperation with Riksteatern from Sweden, and with the support of B&H associations in Sweden.
„U Zvorniku ja sam ostavio svoje srce“, directed by Sulejman Kupusović, is a play from the text of Abdulah Sidran, one of the most well-known and famous B&H playwrights. This is undoubtedly one of the top dramas. It speaks about the beginning of the war in B&H, of what people from eastern B&H went through only due to differences in name and last name.
The cast of the play is Emir Hadžihafizbegović, Admir Glamočak, Muhamed Hadžović, Sabina Bambur, Dragan Jovičić and Sabit Sejdinović, and the play and team of authors have won multiple awards so far at festivals, and the enthralled the audience in a full hall, in Kamerni Theatre and guest performances.
In May 2012, Kamerni Theatre 55 was a guest in Sweden with the play „Umri muški“, directed by Admir Glamočak. A year before that, in 2011, another cult play of Kamerni Theatre took place in Sweden, called „Žaba“ and directed by Elmir Jukić. The public was left speechless, and this resulted in standing ovations for the multiple award winners Emir Hadžihafizbegoviću, Mirsad Tuka, Aleksandar Seksan and Moamer Kasumović.
The increased interest among Swedes for plays at Kamerni Theatre 55 accounts for the fact that “Umri muški” was subtitled in English, and the play “U Zvorniku ja sam ostavio svoje srce” will be subtitled in Swedish. This time, with the organization in some cities the Swedish Theatre is also included, and a significant presence of Swedes at the plays is expected.
