Soon, soon, soon… this is roughly what the cantonal government officials sound like when they are asked about the reconstruction of the Canton Sarajevo (CS) Government. As we have learned, at the end of the week, tomorrow to be exact, Prime Minister Nihad Uk should resign and thus the government will fall.
This will start the announced process of reconstruction of the CS Government.
Uk said earlier that there are three options – the first for the ministers to resign, the second – for the Prime Minister to resign and then the entire government will fall, and the third – for the CS assembly to dismiss certain ministers.
In the future CS Government, there will be no ministers from the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), which means that Almir Becarevic and Emir Dedovic will no longer lead the municipal economy and finance departments.
Also, the current Minister of Health, Haris Vranic, is no longer in the plans for the new government due to certain objections to his work.
Furthermore, it has been said for some time that Vranic could continue his career at the General Hospital as the new director, given that Ismet Gavrankapetanovic is already mentioned as the future director of Sarajevo University Clinical Center.
Most of the controversy will be about the positions currently held by the SDP, and for the time being this party did not want to say whether there will be a change of individual ministers in the new CS Government from the “quota” currently held by the SDP.
It should be recalled that the Coalition of the Three parties won 18 representatives in the elections, but with the departure of Redzo Lemezan, they no longer have the necessary majority to form the CS Government.
However, as things currently stand, they managed to secure enough hands because they will have the support of independent representatives Damir Marjanovic, Redzo Lemezan, Admela Hodzic, and Elza Gakovic.
As we learn, the Prime Minister of CS should call a public conference at the end of the week and present the details of the government’s reconstruction, Klix.ba reports.
