Bet Shops Baščaršija buka.comThe Government of the FBiH during the next week will submit the amendments to the Law on Games of Chance and the Law on Income Tax in the parliamentary procedure, according to deputy in the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, Secretary General of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), Amir Zukic.

He says that these legislative changes are the result of the actions of parliamentarians in the past 8 months, and will be “unified wide range of changes and amendments, which will eliminate all shortcomings in order for this area to be properly regulated.”

Deputies Amir Zukic and Omer Skalja sent their proposal of changes and amendments to the Government of FBiH, whose purpose is to tax all types of bets, or to tax it where it was coming to manipulation for sure.

They proposed to “tax the gain at the place where the player participates in betting, that is where he spends the money, and not on the place where betting shop is registered”.

“We suggested that the funds go to the place of payment or in the federal budget, and to be directed on pensions or in some necessary benefits. Regarding this, I still insist on maternity fund, which is necessary,” stated Zukic.

Stating that the activities of parliamentarians were fruitful, he confirmed that the Government of the FBiH at this point does everything in the right direction in order to have the quality laws on games of chance and on income tax, from which the “country will benefit”.

“I hope that we will adopt the mentioned amendments to the law in the next 20 days,” said deputy in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH, Amir Zukic.
