12736196_1107210742663214_2046262121_nDue to heavy rainfall, the Una River flooded twenty family houses in Kulen Vakuf, also interrupting the road communication towards the settlement Klisa. Civil Protection Service of the City of Bihać is on the field, together with firefighting service that provides help to the endangered population.

Red Cross of Bihać, together with the city administration, delivered 1,800 liters of bottled water to the endangered population in Kulen Vakuf.

Water level has dropped in the past several hours, thus the gradual improvement of the situation is expected.

However, situation is still rather serious downstream. In the very center of Bihać, Una reached 149 centimeters and stagnated for now.

In Bosanska Krupa, however, the water level reached 270 centimeters and keeps rising slightly. Due to this, the municipal Mayor Armin Halitović ordered active monitoring of the situation, given that the situation will become critical if the water level rises for only 20 more centimeters.

In this municipality, the Krušnica River already flooded arable fields and there is possibility that this water mass comes together with the water mass from Una, which would cause serious floods.
