Unique Underwater Sculpture Exhibition to take place in Sarajevo

Today, the Olympic Pool in Sarajevo will become a little underwater gallery for a few hours, where will be exhibited the sculptures of academic sculptor Maja Matasin, diver Zlatan Hamamdzic and artistic works of Omar Krasnic.

Besides the exhibition of sculptures, there will be also an exhibition of photographs by diving instructor and underwater photographer from Croatia, Damir Zurub, who was the winner of the CMAS World Competition in Underwater Photography in 2015. He won three medals in three different categories back then. His photographs were published in magazines, newspapers and websites like National Geographic.

Since the sculptures and photographs will be placed at the bottom of the pool, everyone who wants to look at the underwater exhibition will have to fulfil one condition – to dive. Visitors should bring their personal pool equipment. Moreover, we thought of those who do not want to dive, and therefore photographs and one part of the sculptures will be exhibited in the outer part of the pool.

You can take a look at the underwater exhibition of sculptures from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Olympic Pool Otoka in Sarajevo.
