The President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen announced that the EU sent rescue teams to Bosnia and Herzegovina after the devastating floods.
“We have activated the EU civil protection mechanism and are sending rescue teams to the field. This is EU solidarity in action,” she announced on the “X” social network.
She added that the EU “is with the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina affected by the devastating floods, in heart and mind”.
