The Embassy of the United States of America in Bosnia and Herzegovina welcomed the appointment of the new convocation of the BiH Council of Ministers that was voted today.

“Congratulations on the formation of the new Council of Ministers! BiH needs stable and functional governments focused on addressing the challenges confronting the people of this country. It has had neither for the last four years,” wrote the US Embassy on its official Twitter profile.

This CoM has an opportunity to change BiH’s trajectory by making compromises and forging the consensus necessary to build a better future for all the citizens of BiH.

The United States is prepared to support the CoM as it gets institutions back to work, restores basic functionality, enhances accountability in government, and adopts the reforms required for BiH’s Euro-Atlantic integration, wrote the embassy.
