nik?i? 1The Prime Minister of the FBiH Nermin Nikšić received in Sarajevo yesterday the Deputy General Director for Eurasia and the Balkans of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anna Azari. She was accompanied by David Cohen, the non-residential Ambassador of Israel to BiH with headquarters in Tirana.

Guests from Israel said that the relations between the two countries are good, but that there is a lot of space for raising it to a higher level, especially in the trade.

In this sense, Ambassador Cohen proposed to organize a business forum for BIH and Israeli business people, and Prime Minister Nikšić expressed his support for this initiative.

The Prime Minister informed his guests from Israel that the entities do not have international character, and that international cooperation has to be at the level of the state, and this issue should be an obstacle to the further development of relations between the two countries.

Given that Ambassador Cohen expressed readiness for cooperation, especially in agriculture, Prime Minister Nikšić said that in BiH there is immense potential in this sector, but that it is not fully utilized and that there is a possibility to deepen relations.

The Prime Minister spoke to his guests on the development projects that are currently being realized, especially in electrical energy, road infrastructure and production. He said that it would be good if such discussions could continue with concrete programs so that Israeli entrepreneurs gain insight on the state of the BiH market, and to eventually invest in projects, said that FBiH government.
