Draft Budget and Amendments to Criminal Code Adopted

house of representaivesThe House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly adopted the Draft Law on Budget of BiH institutions and international obligations for 2015, proposed by the BiH Presidency.

According to the document, the budget amounts to 1,563,580,625 BAM, of which the total revenue for financing institutions and receipts for 2014 amounts to 950 million BAM, while revenues for external debt amount to 613,580,625 BAM and which is a decrease by 232,812,343 BAM compared the budget for the previous year.

In an emergency procedure, the Draft Law on Amendments to the Criminal Code was adopted.

BiH Council of Ministers has proposed legislation to harmonize criminal legislation in BiH with international law and the harmonization with the recommendations of GRECO, MONEYVAL Committee and the FATF, the international body whose task is to monitor the measures to combat money laundering and terrorist financing.
