The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina shall submit to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Draft Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro relating to the support and cooperation during the implementation of the Adriatic-Ionian motorway, and as a signatory on BiH behalf the CoM assigned Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Crnadak.
Previously, the Council of Ministers adopted the Report on the activities of the conclusion of this Memorandum.
This confirms the willingness of four countries to jointly support the implementation of the project, including financial assistance from funds of the European Union (EU), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European Investment Bank (EIB), as well as other partners.
For the purpose of effective implementation of this initiative, steering board will be formed, and direct communication will be established at the level of foreign ministries and experts.
The Memorandum shall come into force 15 days after the day of signing, said the Council of Ministers of BiH.
