The municipal court in Tuzla canceled the detention of a fifteen-year-old girl from Tuzla, the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton announced today.

The court issued a decision on the termination of custody on October 9 and released the girl on the same day.

The Prosecution continues with the preliminary proceedings against the girl, who is suspected of the criminal acts of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm, in which two elementary school students in Gornja Tuzla were injured.

Regarding the further course of the preparatory procedure in the regular procedure, the Prosecutor’s Office stated that they could not provide more information.

The Tuzla Canton Police Department of the MUP announced on September 4 that a girl /15/ injured two other girls /14/ with a cold weapon who were helped at the UKC.

At the proposal of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office, on September 7, the Municipal Court in Tuzla ordered a one-month detention for the girl.

In the meantime, the detention has been extended for another month because, as explained by the prosecution, the necessary expert examinations are being carried out, with the involvement of the Center for Social Work and other competent institutions.

The media reported that the mothers of the injured minors said that “the attacker was problematic before, that the injured children have traumas”.

However, sources close to the family of the arrested minor girl claimed the opposite, i.e. that the suspect was subjected to peer violence for two years, precisely by those two girls whom he physically confronted.

They called her “you’re a Chetnik”, “you’re a Serb”, “you eat pork”, the school administration was aware of this, but everything ended with the words that this will not happen again.
