The National Assembly of the Republika Srpska adopted a law by which the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina are not recognized or applied in the RS. The Embassy of the United States of America in our country also reacted. In the statement, among other things, they say that the NSRS carried out an attack on the Dayton Agreement.

“Today, the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska (RSRS) carried out a reckless attack on the Dayton Peace Agreement and the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina established by it. No amount of political rhetoric or misinformation can change the basic fact clearly stated in Article III (3) of the Dayton Constitution that the RS must fully to respect the decisions of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which includes the final and binding judgments of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Republika Srpska cannot unilaterally annul this obligation, nor can it legally ignore the judgments of the Constitutional Court”, said the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
