The United States, through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), has provided an additional USD 1 million to support Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fight against coronavirus pandemic.

This assistance will be used to prepare laboratories, activate case detection and monitoring systems, support technical experts, and improve communication about coronavirus risk.

To date, the United States allocated USD 2.2 million to support BiH’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

They support countries around the world affected by the pandemic, USAID said.
